Life on Island Time

After fourteen hours of traveling (yes, fourteen), we finally arrived in Oahu, Hawaii at 5:30 a.m.

With utterly confused body clocks – what? it’s noon in D.C.? When was that sleep thing supposed to happen? Hello, sunrise – we started our Saturday bright n’ early. The sun was rising as we checked into the room and checked out the digs that we’ll call ‘home’ for the next six days.

Rather than sleeping, we had breakfast, walked around the hotel, snapped 100+ pictures (of course that’s normal) and adjusted to life, on Island time.

It’s a good life…

Aloha!
