Loving on LGF

One thing from Denver that I cannot get in DC is Love Grown Foods. It’s not sold here (yet), and my very last bag is almost empty!

This is not a good situation.

The Cocoa Goodness is long gone; we rationed what remained of the Simply Oats & Sweet Cranberry Pecan, and now all that’s left is the Raisin Almond Crunch. All delicious, all unique, all on the list of my favorite-yogurt-toppers!

I may not be able to buy the stuff here (are you listening, Whole Foods??), but that doesn’t mean I can’t order it, ration it, take it out for photo-shoots on the Mall (see above: obviously this stuff loves the spotlight), and continue to obsess over the chunks that form, the way the almonds are perfectly coated with flavor, and the way Cocoa Goodness makes my mouth think bazinga!

Yup, this stuff has my heart. In fact, I’m a committed blogger and self-proclaimed Love Grown Foods lover.

What’s something random that you love right now?

Aside from my imminent panic that our LGF stash is almost gone, I’m loving Trader Joe’s shopping again (whoop!), sunrise yoga dates on Friday morning and the new season of The Big Bang Theory.

  1. I NEED to get my hands on some Love Grown goodies!!! I have yet to try it, believe it or not. how sad, right??

I’m loving spaghetti squash right now, totally and utterly obsessed with it!

  2. Now that I have finally experience Whole Foods, Canada needs to get on board with TJs!!

  3. We share the love (obsession??) for Cocoa Goodness. I can buy it in Dallas, but the bag is typically gone in 2 days. Guilty as charged. At least you can order it online, and hopefully they’ll start carrying it in DC ASAP!

Georgetown cupcakes. No where near as healthy. We got some the other day for a birthday. Oh so good.

  5. I love you, is that not random enough? I love that I was able to let someone try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the first time. Seriously.

Awesome post! I feel the love….

  6. That’s so weird that you can’t get LGF in DC because you can get them in Richmond! If you ever come down 95, swing by the Martin’s in Carytown, they’ve got lots of different kinds of Love Grown Foods granola!

  7. Maybe b/c fall is in the air….but I am loving apple butter…yum!

  8. omg! do you need me to ship you some from Colorado? Coz gosh darnit I will do it! Just holla.

i’ve been craving hot cocoa lately.

  9. So really and truly? It’s that kind of good? Is it “order some from Amazon” good? Because the thing I LOVE right now is the apple-cinnamon lowfat granola from the Whole Foods bulk bin over Blue Ridge Dairy plain yofresh Greek-style yogurt. With a honeycrisp apple from my CSA. It’s amazing. But if there’s a better granola out there …

Honestly, I do think it’s that good! If you’re just trying it out for the first time (and you like chocolate…), I would *definitely* try the Cocoa Goodness! It is a-mazing.

  10. I am loving Bing Bang Theory too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call me an addict 🙂

We rented all the seasons on Netflix a while ago and watched them VERY quickly – I think they are one of the best casts on TV! So hilarious.

  11. I love Love Grown Foods’ mission! They seem like a fantastic company that’s committed to many of the causes close to my heart. I had an opportunity to sample a few of their granola flavors and they’re pretty fantastic too. 🙂

I haven’t stopped by for awhile, but just noticed that you’re back in DC! Welcome home! It would be wonderful to meet you sometime!

Thanks! It does feel good to be back 🙂

The LGF is great, I pretty much take any chance I can to rave about them, ha.

Next time I go up to DC to visit my parents, I can bring you some if you’d like. They sell it here in Georgia.
