Another Half in the Books

Luckily the weather-man, whoever “he” is, was completely wrong. We ran along the trail, with a Sunny blue sky. But someone else decided to steal the show – 25-30 mph winds, who invited you?

All that said, we survived! The Sis with a PR and me with a new idea of what’s doable at altitude.

  7. Yeah! Nice work! That’s a great time. Man, my 20 miler today was tough. I ran in Sisters, OR (which is about 3,600 ft elevation) and definitely noticed the difference. My lungs (and legs) are tired. Hope you and the sis have some fun post race plans!

  8. congrats on the half! i’m excited to read your recap. running at all is hard, so i’m sure altitude adds in a whole other beast.
